Welcome to the Blogsite of the 4th Africa Conference on Sexual Health and Rights
Yvette
Dear Participants
I would like to begin by welcoming all of you to this virtual meeting place leading up to the 4th Africa Conference on Sexual Health and Rights. The purpose of this blog is to provide an avenue to share experiences, news and interventions that you/your organization are currently working on as concerns SRH and HIV & AIDS. Additionally, it is a forum to communicate our ideas, thoughts, comments and suggestions related to the planning and success of this conference. The information derived from this blog will be collated and disseminated post conference and could act as a guiding tool for subsequent conferences.
Now, to introduce myself: I am Yvette Kathurima from IPPF- Africa Regional Office and I will be initiating discussion topics in the blog. Therefore, I look forward to your inputs in discussions and suggestions on topics that you would like to see tackled in this blog. Our aim is to make the blog as interactive and informative as possible, so please feel free to contact me for any clarifications on the same.
We are aware that blog activity will become more active once registration begins but we welcome each and every one of you to make a contribution as early as now.
The first discussion topic is: What would you like to see incorporated in the 4th conference? Why is this important to you/your organization?
To post a comment, please sign up and await approval by the administrator. As it is only fair that we maintain respect for diversity throughout our engagements, certain measures have been put in place to avoid marginalizing any individual(s). Consequently, I ask for valuable contributions that will engage the different personalities who will be frequenting this blog while at the same time, help the organizers plan a successful conference.Looking forward to your responses!
Kind regards,
Yvette

Thanks Yvette for your update. As an organisation we are tackling Multiple Concurrent Partnerships in a Regional Campaign across Southern Africa as a driver of HIV/AIDS. We are focusing on sexual relationships between men and women in this part of the world. When will we be able to submit abstracts for the conference as we would like showcase how we have gone about this.

Warmly yours,
Benjamin Buyemere
